Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae (AFA)

Algae are simple photosynthetic plants that live either in water or damp areas. Klamath blue-green algae are also known scientifically as cyanobacteria. Blue-green algae was discovered about two decades ago growing in wild abundance in a naturally super productive ecosystem in Oregon.
There are only one unique blue green algae, because no other environment on Earth that duplicates the wild blue green algae on fertile area of Klamath Lake.  AFA is microalga, which grows in eutrophic lake - Klamath Lake, Southern Oregon, USA - freshwater living area. 

Algae are reproduced during summer months in every four hours. Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae - grows in enormous amounts that later are available for harvesting. Algae Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae of AquaSource company are harvested from the purest and deepest waters of Upper Klamath Lake. This harvesting of algae is made on period between May and November.
